Bold Visions is a community of people with a passion for biking, bike trails, bike touring, travel and independent living and with the will to master the technologies that enable them. We love being outdoors and active- biking, walking, keeping fit – and want to leverage the equipment, tools and technology that enable, enhance and share the experience.
Many of us are retired (or planning or dreaming) or taking career breaks. We are mastering the financial and business knowledge to sustain our independent, self-sufficient life, so sometimes we are indoors doing purposeful things like learning, managing investments, or earning income. We believe in balance, foresight and sustainability. By becoming smarter, stronger, healthier, freer, richer and more connected ourselves, we are better positioned to contribute by helping others and reducing social, economic and energy dependencies. We want to give back, make a lasting contribution, and do our bit to leave the world better and more sustainable than the one we entered. We want to reduce energy demands through conservation and increasing muscle-powered activities and transportation. Please join us.

Where is this picture?
If you are wondering where this photo was taken... it's my old stomping grounds - the Bison Range. It's in the Mission Valley near St Ignatius Montana. Near here is a wonderful rail trail that runs from Polson, on the southern shore of beautiful Flathead Lake, down the Mission Valley almost to Ronan. Like this photo it has spectacular views of the incomparable Mission Range.

We can master technology to keep connected, keep current and keep learning and to sustain financial and physical independence. We are applying tools like the internet, social networking, wikis, blogs, navigation aids, smart phones, and mobile apps for positive change in ourselves and our world.
LifeVision – Boomers are shifting gears for the Trail Ahead - preparing to make the most of the next phase and leave a good legacy. We want a community that provides resources and tools for financial independence, family connections and physical well being.
